My First Ship - Part 5
Before painting, it is important to prepare the parts. With water sandpaper number 400-600 we sand the parts to be painted, in our case - the hull and superstructure. If somewhere there are irregularities or defects that remained after sanding, putty and auto putty and repeat the procedure. We make bodices according to the color scheme suggested in the instructions or we invent our own color scheme. We also paint the rest of the parts with the appropriate color, such as the mast, on-board lights, life belts, fenders and other deck details. We glue the parts in their places according to the drawing. The last step is to glue the PILOT inscription on the superstructure and the number 081 on the bow of the ship.
We place the model on its stand and the model is ready.
